A DAY IN MILAN: A tribute to Gualtiero Marchesi
 

The premier event in Bar Carolina's upcoming Uno Chef, Una Città series, 'A Day in Milan: A tribute to Gualtiero Marchesi' honours the legacy of the father of modern Italian cuisine, with a menu showcasing the rich culinary traditions Marchesi established in Milan at Ristorante Gualtiero Marchesi, the first Italian restaurant to receive three Michelin stars, and later evolved at Il Foyer alla Scala di Gualtiero Marchesi.

At this special event, Bar Carolina Head Chefs Akela Nevelli and Vincenzo Di Giovanniello will transport you to the streets of Milan for a luxurious long lunch, serving a seven-course Milanese degustation inspired by Marchesi's most famous dishes, accented by matched wines showing the diverse terroir of the Lombardy region and the inimitable style of its local producers.
